This jointed version of our Runt pattern is a very slow sinking lure at around 1/3 metre every 3 seconds. A straight retrieve, causes the “Jointed Runt” to work with a tight erratic wiggle. By changing to a twitched/jerked retrieve a lovely darting action can be achieved, which is highly effective at producing strikes from predators in otherwise slow conditions. This dual action, sub-surface lure has proved particularly effective from early spring through to autumn and is ideal for working in depths between 1 and 2 metres.
Red Slit over smoke;
Good in both clear and tinged water.
Flo orge/white belly/ scale;
Good in all water types but best in tinged or stained water.
Citrus;
Highly visible colour but works well in conditions ranging from clear to heavily coloured water alike.
