Thank you for visiting Lakes Lures, on this page you will find information about the services we offer.
We offer a knowledgeable and experienced fishing guide service to both the novice and experienced angler. This service is available on any of the public waters in the Lake District, with Windermere taking the main focus.
You can come to us with as little or as much tackle/knowledge as you like - We have a collection of high quality fishing equipment & tackle, all the way from hooks to nets and can help/show you to un-hook and safely return every fish back to the water.
All rates include your guide's time, boat hire and use of our equipment if required, please do feel free to bring your own equipment if you prefer, although the rate will remain the same. Session rates are based on one angler only. An additional charge of £20 per extra angler for half-day sessions and £30 for full day sessions, the maximum is 3 adults per boat.
Half Day Options
The Early Riser Session - 07:00 to 12:00 @ £95 per session
The Midday Riser Session - 13:00 to 18:00 @ £95 per session
The Late Session - 18:00/18:30 to 21:00/21:30 @ £85 per session
Mid morning or afternoon snack/lunch can be provided @ £10 per head. This can be freshly made sandwiches and soup or weather permitting, an on boat BBQ. Hot and cold drinks are available, including a few cold beers and a couple of small bottles of wine putting the Tracker's un-used live-well to some use! If you have any special requirements whether it is a compulsory dietary or just a preference please do let us know and we will be more than happy to accommodate for your needs.
Additional Hours will be charged £20 per hour and are only available if there is no following booking and if your guide has not made any other plans.
Full Day Options
The Office Session - 09:00 to 17:00 @ £145 per session
The Early Riser Day Session - 07:00 to 17:00 @ £185 per session
The All Day Session - 07:00 to 20:00 @ £240 per session
Mid morning or afternoon snack/lunch can be provided @ £10 per head. This can be freshly made sandwiches and soup or weather permitting, an on boat or shore BBQ. Hot and cold drinks are available, including a few cold beers and a couple of small bottles of wine putting the Tracker's un-used live-well to some use! If you have any special requirements whether it is a compulsory dietary requirement or just a preference please do let us know and we will be more than happy to accommodate for your needs. On a full day fishing why not ask us about mooring up for a pub lunch or at least a drink, this can be a great time to stretch your legs or meet up with the rest of your family/party members.

Overnight Options
All overnight sessions include camping equipment, fishing equipment, lakeside evening BBQ/drinks, lakeside breakfast. Please see Equipment for full details on the equipment we supply.
Dust Till Dawn Session - 18:30 to 09:00 @ £250 per session
24 Hour Session - 12:00 to 12:00 (Next Day) £450 per session
***All rates above are based on Windermere sessions, if you would like to fish another water there will be a fuel sur-charge for transportation. We ask for your understanding regarding this matter an would like confirm that this would be a realistic charge only to cover the extra fuel cost that we incur.***
Boat Hire
We also offer a boat hire service for the experiance angler looking to explore Windermere without a guide. Although we will be happy to give some advise on where to go and what method is working well.
We have a number of fibre glass boats up to 15-foot available for hire by the hour, half day or full day rental.
Prices include, boat hire, outboard hire and full tank of fuel.
1 hour Boat Hire (Minium 2 Hours) - @ £20
4 Hours Boat Hire - @ £55 - £15 per additional hour
8 Hours Boat Hire - @ £95 - £15 per additional hour
Equipment hire is additional to the prices quoted above, please contact for detail. Also plesae note that a credit card and/or a cash deposit will be required for both equipment and boat hire.
