Equipment

All fishing session prices include your guide's time, boat hire, fuel and all the fishing tackle/equipment that you will need for a good day of fishing in fhe Lake District. We have a large range of equipment suited to everyone whether you are a first timer or a seasoned angler.

Please do feel free to bring your own equipment if you would prefer.

We believe for all fishing, whether it's our own personnel days out or if we are guiding, that it is paramount that you use high quality, well-maintained tackle and equipment. It does not have to be the most expensive, just high quality and hardwearing. The benefits of have high quality tackle are peace of mind, a better fishing experience, lower costs in the long term, but most importantly a safer and more controlled landing of your target fish.

Although any angler may find it frustrating when a link breaks, a reel jams and a line snaps. The real issue is the safety and preservation of the fish, the above examples often leave your catch with a hook and at least couple of yards of line attached.
