About Lakes Lures Ltd

Lakes Lures Ltd was launched in February 2008 by two fishing enthusiasts who have lived and fished in the Lake Distric all their lives. It was set up as an online mail order predator tackle supplier offering tackle and accessories to anglers across the UK & Ireland. Following a number of enquiries from tackle customers requesting information regarding fishing boats and outboard motors we took the decision that we were going to offer a range of Quintrex fishing boats and Tohatsu outboard motors to compliment our range of predator tackle.

Following this decision we received a number of enquiries from our customers requesting details of Lake District fishing guides. It was at this point that we decided that we were in an excellent position to offer a first class and knowledgeable Lake District fishing experience, hence the birth of this sister website.

We are offering this service to both the novice angler looking to try their hand at fishing whilst getting the opportunity to spend some time out on one of the enticing waters in the Lake District and to the experience angler looking to extract some local knowledge in a bid to improve their chances of locating and landing that special catch.

Our aims excluding guiding you to catching you some fish, are to make sure that you and your party members have an enjoyable and stress free visit to the Lake District whilst also learning about the conservation and preservation of the local area.
